Rei walked into the training area, her Terriermon not too far behind. Her black hair was tied back with a white ribbon, and the hood of her black robes was laying flat against her back, unused for now.
Her ruby lips barely moved as she uttered, "Heth, status." Her golden eyes were on the Terriermon as he looked around. His long green and cream ears dragged on the grass of the training area as he surveyed the building.
"There looks to be no one else around at the moment," he replied professionally, as he had been taught to do. He followed as Rei walked forward to a tree planted in the area, decorated with marks from many digimon training there.
Rei stood back as Heth faced the tree. "Alright. Let's practice your Petit Twister first," Rei said softly, barely above a whisper. But Heth heard all the same.
"Petit Twister!" he called out, beginning to spin rapidly. Suddenly, a funnel of what looked to be golden flames erupted around the spinning Terriermon. He hurtled forward, slamming full force into the tree and rebounding through the air, landing lightly in his starting position.
Rei growled, stepping forward. "It's not good enough, Heth! Stronger! You're too weak!" she pressed, eyes flashing. "Now do it again!"
Heth, used to the heavy training given by his tamer, faced the tree again, his eyes blazing. He would impress his tamer this time around. "Petit Twister!" he cried again, spinning even faster than before. The same golden flame erupted around him, lashing out mercilessly at the air.
Again, he hurtled forward, with even more speed than the first time. He slammed into the tree, and a sickening crack echoed around the near-empty building. He rebounded backwards, landing lightly and watching as the tree swayed. Not mere moments later, it fell with a mighty thump.
Heth turned, looking at his tamer in hopes of praise from the girl. A false smile was pasted upon her lips, and without looking at Heth, she muttered, "It still isn't good enough."

Rei paused, hearing another voice and watching as the tree lit on fire. A boy and his Guilmon stood not too far away. They looked familiar, but Rei couldn't be sure. "Are you Jacob?" she asked in a quiet voice, rather arrogant at that.
The Terriermon followed obiediently behind Rei, accidently tripping over the girl's cloak and falling in front of her. "Get up, you worthless little creature," she hissed, grabbing the Terriermon roughly and pulling him to his feet.
He yelped, standing quietly with his paws held together and his ears drooping. He knew his tamer was mad at him now, and he wanted to get in as little trouble as possible later on, when they went home.

" yeah you must be Rei" Jacob replied feeling sorry for the Terriermon. Guilmon looked at the other team and looked at Jacob , wondering why the other human was so mean

"Yep. You're one of the Olympic Knights, too, right?" Rei replied, a bit more friendlier this time. Heth risked a look up at his tamer, then walking over to James' Guilmon.
He looked him over first, and then asked, "What's your name? Mine is Heth."

"Guilmon, eh? That's a rather boring name," Heth replied plainly. He yawned, sitting down in the grass and massaging his sore ears from where Rei had dragged him upright.
"Ah. Yeah, I was just a regular member of Light Fang before the Olympic Knights became a branch of the Digimon Union, and I was invited to join," Rei said, her eyes glassy.

"Mmm. I would guess so," Rei replied in mock sympathy. She had gotten good at pretending over the years, so more often than not, nobody could tell whether she was faking or actually being sincere.
Heth yawned again, flopping in the grass and looking up at the sky mural painted on the roof of the building.

"Hmm."
It was clear the training area was not empty today, like she thought it would be. Most of the Light Fang members were out on missions, particularly against their notorious enemies, Team Night Claw, or Crow. as some called them. She particularly knew them as Night Claw.
Cassandra McLeod was a new arrival of Light Fang, having entered from the Real World by an accident. She'd been saved and brought to headquarters by a group of older members, and had been promptly signed up. She soon learned about Digimon, creatures having inhabited computer networks.
She had her own team of Digimon even; the standard for all new members, a Coronamon, nicknamed Sunburst; a fiery Child Digimon that looked like a bipedal lizard with red armbands, an Agumon nicknamed Xanier; and finally a stoic and silent Child Digimon looking much like a chess piece, Pawn Chessmon White, nicknamed Blanc.
"Well, I don't suppose I'll let their presence bother us," Cassie said to not only herself, but her three Digimon, "I mean, a lot of other people happen to train here when others are around, eh?"
"Y'sound nervous, Cassandra," Sunburst said. The brown-eyed girl looked down at the Child Digimon, who resembled a bipedal lion with a flame crest mounted on his forehead, and fire upon the tip of his tail.
"I am just a little... being new and all."
"She'll be fine!" Xanier put in loyally, grinning a toothy smile, "Come on, let's go train now!"
He was the one practically leading the way, with Sunburst directly behind. Every chance he got, the Coronamon cast a look back at his Tamer, as though secretly judging her. It made Cassie feel like he felt he needed better than her. Was that what he was thinking?
"What about you, Blanc? You want to train?" she asked the Pawn Chessmon, pinning a loose tuft of brown hair over her right ear.
The perpetually silent Digimon did not reply vocally, but looked up whilst walking and nodded.
"Awesome. I hope this works out better than the time I tried to train my dog."

Rei looked up as a new girl with her three digimon walked in. She knew who she was, not by name, but she was the girl who had come from the Real World. Heth looked toward them upside down, too lazy to get up. "Reeeeeeiiiii, help meeeee!" he said, holding his paws up for assistance.
Rei rolled her eyes, walking over and dragging the Terriermon to his feet. "There, you little ingrate," she teased, not able to stay mad at the Terriermon for very long. She watched as two of the girl's digimon led the way, with the girl and her other digimon following behind.
Curious, she walked forward. "Hey, you're the girl who came from the real world, aren't you?" she asked, for once really wanting to know. "What's your name? I'm dubbed Reilaina, though I'm better known as Rei. I've been here for about a year or so.
Heth went over to say hello to the Coronamon, knowing Rei had one, too. "Hey Rei, why don't you let your other digimon out?" he asked, looking pointedly at the Coronamon next to him. Rei smirked, bringing out her digivice and pressed a few buttons.
Two digimon materialized; one a Coronamon like Cassandra's, the other a Salamon. "Happy now Heth?" she droned in an irritated voice. Heth nodded, and she turned back to Cassandra.

The girl had approached Cassandra, and she felt more at ease now that one of the two people had at least taken the liberty to talk to her. She smiled, albeit shyly, and gave the girl a sort of once-over. She was wearing obsidian black robes, like mysterious people in movies, and her hair was pinned back with a white ribbon, more fancy than her brown hair which was looped in a fuzzy elastic cord.
"Hello, Rei, my name's Cassandra, Cassie for short," she replied, holding her arms behind her back, "and yeah, I'm the girl from the real world... it was a big shock when I ended up falling flat through my computer screen into this place!"
Something tugged gently at her wrist. Looking down, she saw Blanc had grasped, with his spear-wielding arm, where her hands met at the back. He was looking up at her, and she felt a sort of expectation vibrating from him. It was such with the Pawnchessmon family; they never communicated through sound of any sort. They instead seemed to allow their feelings to vent out.
"Oh? Sorry, I almost forgot to introduce you too! This is Blanc, my Pawn Chessmon White," Cassie gestured to the knight-like Child Digimon. He released his grasp on Cassie's wrist, waving silently at Rei and her Terriermon.
"And of course I have..."
"Ouch! Shove off!"
Cassandra's eyes darted in the direction of the big tree, and immediately saw Xanier and Sunburst were starting their own little feud. She sighed, and smacked her forehead. It didn't help when her Coronamon was so pushy as to start fights with her own team because of his bloody arrogance.
"Blanc? Could you, uhm..." she gave a gesture towards the two. Dutifully, the Child Digimon saluted, and marched off to settle the dispute.
"They're going to have to get over each other if we want to pull together," she said aloud, pinching the bridge of her nose. Inwardly she was embarrassed, because her Digimon were feuding in front of someone who, in general, seemed to be much more experienced than she.
